What is your role? 
Hi my name is Shelby Keating and my role in Animal Earth is
Floor Manager and Title Sequence Supervisor.

What is your favourite animal?
My favourite animal would have to be tie between cats and dogs, I’m torn and really can’t choose between them! I love these domesticated pets as they are just too cute, and they aim to please their humans as much as they can (albeit dogs more than cats on this one). If I close my door at home, my cat will meow and scratch at the door until I open it, and then he won’t even come in – he’s a very strange and funny cat sometimes!

 

What is your spirit animal?

Funnily enough, I also kind of think that Cats are my spirit animal, as all they do all day is sleep and crave attention and that sounds like somebody else I know too well!

 

What is your favourite part of your role?

I love the Floor Managing role, as I will have a very important role, or passing on the direction from the gallery, and I enjoy having a role where I can organise and control the production and team in some way. I also am very excited for the Title Sequence role, as it’s a much more creative role, and I really personally enjoy title sequences, therefore working on this is also a perfect role for me!​

Do you have pets?

I have a British Shorthair cat called Billy (aka pudding), he’s 4 years old this year
but you wouldn’t know it by how he dashes around like a mad hatter.

He loves sitting in any sort of box, and is the biggest attention seeker I know! He is a cute little softie though and I miss him so much when I’m away at University.
