What is your role? 
Hi there, I’m Jacob Simpson and I’m the location presenter.

 

What’s the best part of your role?

The best part of this job is defiantly getting to meet all the cute
animals in person.

What is your favourite animal?
It may be a little boring, but I love Rams. They remind me so much of the countryside hills I grew up on.

 

What is your spirit animal?

My spirit animal is 100% a giraffe, I feel they’re the only ones who will understand my pain from being so tall.

Do you have pets?
I wish I had pets. I’m currently in between pets at the moment, but the last one I had was a grumpy chicken named Crumble. 

What is your favourite animal memory?  
One time when I was a child I was on holiday in Hornsea. It was on a walk on the beach one day when we found a lonesome seal, basking in the sun on the pebbly beach. Obviously being a mad child I immediately lied down opposite him and began talking in a pretend seal voice. He responded, however, and so we had a great little conversation. I’m still a little bit convinced to this day that I can talk to seals.
